Metal building frames are load-bearing structures made of steel sections (I-beams, channels, angles, tubes): columns, beams, trusses, purlins, bracings, service platforms. Light frames (span up to 24 m): hangars, warehouses, agricultural complexes. Frame structures. Steel weight 20–40 kg/m². Heavy frames (span 24–60 m): workshops, shopping malls, sports complexes. Trusses, lattice columns. Weight 40–80 kg/m². Steels: St3sp, 09G2S (for frost-resistant structures down to −60°C). Anti-corrosion protection: primer, hot-dip galvanizing or paint system according to ISO 12944. Design according to SP 16.13330 and Eurocode 3. Production: cutting, drilling, welding, shot blasting Sa 2.5, painting. Control: ultrasonic testing of welds (100% of butt welds). Installation: large-block assembly, bolted and welded connections. Advantages of steel frame: fast installation (2–4 months for a 1000 m² hangar), lightweight structure (weight 3–5 times less than reinforced concrete), possibility of spans up to 60 m without intermediate supports, dismountability (transportation and re-assembly). Delivery package: detailed fabrication drawings (KMD), bolt specification, assembly diagram. Production lead time 4–8 weeks. Delivery by long-length transport.
