Raw silk is a natural thread reeled from the cocoons of the mulberry silkworm (Bombyx mori). It is the thinnest and strongest natural fiber in the world (strength 4–5 g/den, thinner than human hair). Production: cocoons are reeled in hot water, producing a thread from 3–8 cocoons simultaneously (titer 20–22 den). Applications: weaving silk fabrics (satin, chiffon, crepe de chine, organza), production of silk threads and yarns. Quality is determined by: evenness, purity, strength, whiteness. GOST 8837-83 'Raw Silk'. Export documentation: Certificate of Analysis (CoA), Certificate of Origin, Declaration of Conformity. Exports to China, EAEU, Middle East, Southeast Asia.
