Sheep wool is a natural fiber for the textile industry, carpet weaving, and felt production. Raw (greasy) wool is in its original state with lanolin (grease content 15–40%), dirt, and vegetable impurities; it is cheaper but requires washing by the buyer. Scoured wool is cleaned of grease and impurities, ready for carding and spinning. Grades: fine (merino, 14–23 µm for suiting fabrics), semi-fine (25–31 µm for knitwear), semi-coarse and coarse (34–45 µm for carpets and felt). GOST 30702-2000 "Natural wool". Export documentation: Certificate of Analysis (CoA), certificate of origin, declaration of conformity. Exports to China, EAEU, Middle East, Southeast Asia.
