Pine sawlogs are roundwood timber (logs) with a diameter of 14–40 cm and a length of 4–6 m, intended for sawing. The export of unprocessed coniferous timber from Russia is restricted by Government Decree No. 1520 — involving protective duties and quotas. Sorting is based on diameter, curvature, and the presence of defects. Harvesting method: harvester-forwarder (cut-to-length). Forest certification: FSC/PEFC.
