Herb meal is dried and crushed grass (alfalfa, clover, timothy, cereal mixtures) compressed into pellets of 6–14 mm. It is a source of carotene (provitamin A ≥150 mg/kg), fiber, protein (15–20%), and vitamins. It serves as the main vitamin feed for cattle, rabbits, horses, and poultry. Alfalfa meal is the most valuable, with protein levels between 17–20% and carotene exceeding 200 mg/kg. Russia actively exports herb pellets to China, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Production is carried out using drying complexes - Vitamin Meal Aggregates (AVM). The standard is GOST 18691-88 "Feed meal from artificially dried grass." Packaging options include big bags, 30–50 kg sacks, and bulk. This is a product of Russian manufacture. Export documentation includes a veterinary certificate (Mercury), a certificate of origin, and a declaration of conformity. Exports are made to China and the EAEU. Documentation includes a veterinary certificate (FGIS "Mercury"), a quality protocol, and a declaration of conformity. Packaging options are loose, in 25–50 kg bags, or big bags of 500–1000 kg.
