Jam, preserve, and berries mashed with sugar are natural fruit and berry preserves of Russian production, made from fresh and frozen berries and fruits. Berries mashed with sugar is a product of minimal heat treatment, maximally preserving the taste, aroma, color, and vitamin composition of fresh berries. Fruit content is at least 50%. Varieties: raspberry, strawberry, blueberry, blackcurrant, sea buckthorn, lingonberry, cranberry, blackberry. Classic jam is whole berries or fruit pieces in sugar syrup, prepared by multiple boiling to preserve the shape of the berries. Jam (confiture) is a homogeneous jelly-like mass of mashed fruits and berries with sugar and pectin. Packaging: glass jars 350 g, 500 g, 1 kg (retail); buckets 1.5–5 kg (HoReCa and manufacturing).
