Golden flax seeds are a premium food product with a mild nutty flavor and light golden color. They differ from brown flax seeds by the absence of bitterness, making them preferable for direct consumption. Nutritional profile: Omega-3 (alpha-linolenic acid) up to 22g/100g, lignan antioxidants, soluble and insoluble fiber 27g/100g, protein 18g/100g. Vitamins B1, B6, folic acid, magnesium, phosphorus, manganese. Seed purity 99.5–99.98% (confectionery standard). Applications: baking, muesli, granola, smoothies, yogurts, salads. Healthy food and wellness market segment. Golden flax is the result of breeding Canadian and Russian varieties to reduce bitterness and lighten the hull. Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) content is identical to brown flax — up to 55% of the fatty acid composition of the oil. ALA is a precursor to EPA and DHA (long-chain Omega-3s), essential for cardiovascular and nervous systems. Lignans: secoisolariciresinol diglucoside (SDG) — a phytoestrogen with antioxidant properties, content in flax is 800 times higher than in any other plant. Research links SDG to reduced risk of hormone-dependent tumors. Packaging: polypropylene bags 25 kg (industrial), kraft paper bags 250–500 g (retail wellness), vacuum bags (premium). Export: Europe, China, Middle East. Export documentation: phytosanitary certificate, Non-GMO certificate, quality protocol. Storage: dry ventilated warehouses, temperature and humidity control. Products undergo incoming quality control for each batch. Test reports from accredited laboratories.
