Contact adhesives (neoprene, rubber) are solutions of chloroprene (neoprene) or natural rubber in organic solvents. Bonding process: application on both surfaces → hold for 5–15 minutes (evaporation of solvent) → press. Strength 1–4 MPa. Elastic seam. Usage: footwear industry, furniture (upholstery), construction (insulation, flooring), automotive industry (linings, sound insulation). Water-based dispersions are an eco-friendly alternative to solvent-based adhesives (without VOCs). GOST 30535-97. Available in cans of 1–20 liters, buckets, barrels. Water-based contact adhesives (latex-based) are an eco-friendly alternative to solvent-based adhesives: no odor, non-flammable, VOC < 5 g/l. Used for furniture upholstery, footwear (upper seam), construction insulators. Strength 0.5–2 MPa. Storage: ≥5°C (do not freeze). Shelf life 12 months. Documentation: TDS, MSDS, certificate of compliance.
