Geomembrane welding of sheets is performed by extrusion (for T-shaped and corner joints) or contact (double hot wedge — main seam) method with peel and shear testing of each seam. Control: vacuum or spark test of 100% of seams. Geogrids: laying between road base layers increases service life by 50–100%.
