Birch pulpwood — round timber from birch trees with a diameter of 6–24 cm for pulp and paper mills. Short-fiber hardwood pulp from birch gives paper smoothness, whiteness, and printability. Used in the production of writing and printing paper, offset cardboard. GOST 9462-2016. Hardwood pulp (from birch) is short-fiber (1–1.5 mm): imparts smoothness, whiteness, opacity, and printability to paper. Softwood pulp (from spruce, pine) is long-fiber (3–4 mm): provides strength. Paper is produced from a mixture of both types in a proportion of 30–70% hardwood + 30–70% softwood. Logistics: timber trucks, railway platforms. Stacking with spacers. Export documentation: phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin.
